A bit run down but super awesome pub in the heart of Pasadena Old Town. Awesome selection of beers and good music. Will definitely visit again next time around.

A truly 'old town' establishment. An only slightly rotating tap list. The 'Pub grub' is good. There is simply Very few pubs that have such an authentic euro-sourced beer selection. Worthy mention is the Delirium cafe in Sierra Madre. Related ownership, I believe. Plus it's fine lication.

Came here around lunch with a friend to get fish and chips and a drink, but was extremely disappointed with the food quality. Service quality - was great, the bartender was very nice and attentive to getting our order, no problem here. She was very cool about the whole experience. Food quality - terrible. Waited ~1 hour for one order of fish and chips and what we got was underwhelming to say the least. Fries/chips were a mix of hot and cold and not the thick cut style as in other photos. The fish was boiling hot on the outside and still undercooked on the inside. We were confused because lucky baldwins usually has pretty good food and what we got was the furthest thing from good/unique fish and chips. Good service but I have no idea what happened to the food. Yikes.

"The happiest place place on Earth." Lucky's had been tucked back in the alley long before Tiffany's, the Cheesecake Factory, and all the rest came to old town Pasadena. The service is generally very slow and disorganized, which is something I love about it: Don't go here if you're in a hurry or feeling uptight! Great -extensive- beer selection (no hard liquor.) Love the jukebox. Enjoy the patio, or go to watch international soccer. Satisfying, but unexceptional pub food serves well to cushion all the beer you'll drink.

The best beer selection (for Belgians) and great bartenders who know their craft... it's an excellent place to learn about the wide world of beer.

Love this hidden dive bar. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love their beer choices.

The drinks are a bit pricey, but still somewhat reasonable for the location.The staff is awesome! Attentive, knowledgeable and considerate.As hard as it might be to believe in Old Town Pasadena, everyone I met here seemed authentic and unpretentious.If you're over dealing with ridiculous posers in the Hollywood bar scene... you might want to check this place out.

this was a treat. while the family was at wedding rehearsal down the street I craved a beer. looked on the Google maps and found this little gem. right across the street from the park and located in a trendy neighborhood you will find plenty of parking. traditional pub with a large selection of beer on tap and in bottles. bartender was friendly and informative, recommending the local brew craftsman 1902. and it was a great call, came In for one and had three. outdoor seating for eating and drinking also. definitely looking forward to my next pint.

I come here anytime I'm in Pasadena. Super nice staff, huge beer list and good food. Plus you can sit outside in the shade and not feel rushed to leave.

Great food, kind employees, regularly great ambience. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is very good. 5 stars.

We were there for lunch. Good food and friendly service. Probably very different when crowded at night.

Dog friendly, great beer selection, no mixed drinks. Good Irish menu.food took a while to come out. Skip the fish and chips. Burger was okay because I was so hungry. until the last bite, couldn't get it down.

Excellent pub food and great beer selection. Staff is knowledgeable about the beers offered. It took us forever to get our check but otherwise a great pub. The decor is fun too.

Wonderful Pub in Pasadena with Traditional English food decor. This is where you can fond traditional fish and chips or meat or cottage pie. We had the 'Loaded Chips' which were delicious for $8. *see photo. The interior is very authentic (see photo). Service was good as well. The only suggestion I would offer is to keep it English ans and play Soccer on TV and not American Baseball 😀

Really dig this bar.... A whole lot of beer choices. Great to catch a sports game. You won't want to leave. Very friendly atmosphere, clientele and staff.

Sam was an awesome hostess. The pictures speak for themself. Great beer selection a fun atmosphere to hang out. Not loud so you could hear the great songs from the jut box. Food was great.

Great beer, good people, lots of taps. Wouldn't normally review such a community staple - but I receive such consistent good service, it's worth calling attention to. Today I ordered a terrible 3.5% red beer (my fault) and the bartender immediately offered to replace it if I couldn't finish half of it (which I couldn't.) Thanks for correcting my mistakes, LBP. Always a great spot to meander to.

This is an unfussy place for great beers and hearty English fare that's won over my heart. It gets a little packed after 10pm on Thursdays and can get pretty busy during the weekend but come by before peak hours or on a weekday to imbibe in peace.The bartenders here are such champs, great at giving suggestions for beers to try or alternatives for ones they've run out of. I'd steer cleer of most of the food items at the Old Town Lucky's as the quality is spotty, but the bangers and mash, steak & Guinness pie, pasties and curry are solid in my book.

Phenomenal service, a nice dive atmosphere, and a great selection of beers at a reasonable priceWe were here late night and the bar keeper was friendly and funny, despite us being first timers here. The atmosphere is about as authentic as you'd get in Pasadena without sacrificing cleanliness. We had a great selection of beers and the recommendations given were spot on based on our taste. Very fair prices and you can ask for small portions of various on tap beers to taste.

Fish and chips were over cooked and dry. To pricey for what you get. Excellent beer choices.

A pub in every brick and board of the place. I'd prefer fewer TVs, but pubs are places people watch sports, I guess.We had a Guinness and a cream ale, both pints professionally pulled.We started with the calamari appetizer, which was clearly not the frozen fare most places offer. The pieces were large & moist, which sounds gross to say, but hey, it's squid. I had the panko encrusted cod, my companions had fish & chips. The green beans & baby tomatoes were quite delicious, and my wife enjoyed my spinach very much.

Came here for a few beers before The Cure festival. Great little bar and the bartender was friendly. My kind of place in a sea of bars that aren't my kind of bars. I'd definitely go back if I were in the area.

Place is great if you want to hang out grab a beer or two. The food is good too, but parking is a little hard to get to. I personally go to the parking structure on green street. It is 90 minutes free, and it is just around the corner from the parking structure. They don't validate there, so expect to pay for parking if your over 90 minutes. I really love going when they have celebrations because they bring out their best beer. You need to check often because their selection changes.

My dad actually told me about this spot and how much he loved it. Went in for the first time this last summer and have been back over 10 times since. They have a great beer selection and great food as well - I definitely recommend the fish and chips. Friendly servers as well!

Being adventurous...beer n hard cider over English chicken pot pie n cottage pie. Delicious. Hubby and I listen to soccer (Mexico won) and to excellent sax combo and also singer. We watched Dodgers on our phones. Fun evening in Old Town Pasadena.

Always a great place to hang out in the heart old old town Pasadena. Large selection of beers and yummy food. Soccer fan? They open early for Premier League games!

Had a great time there yesterday watching the Liverpool game and had such a fun time.Excellent customer service and the food was great as I would recommend this pub for everyone that loves to have fun and be around good people.

Been coming here for years and they never disappoint! Excellent selection of craft beer on tap and incredible food. Forget where ever you are headed to in old Town and hit up this very typical Irish /Scottish pub for a great European experience this side....... of the 605!

Love this place and outdoor patio especially if you have a dog and want to chill on a warm afternoon and watch sports. Best burgers in town as well.
